We are super hyped to announce the first Ginwoo Street Part ever, as this is part of becoming a pro skater, and we really trust in the whole and real process, we just hope that the world enjoys this video as much as we enjoyed working on it.

Ginwoo's Journey - From Kid to Pro Skateboarder and SLS Super Crown Winner

At JART, we’ve always believed the future of skateboarding is built by those who start young, dream big, and never stop pushing, and Ginwoo is living proof of that.

The brand that relies on the youth academy

Long before the world knew his name, he was already skating with purpose. We’ve seen it ourselves — clips of him as a kid, skating with raw talent and fearless energy, slowly evolving into the skater he is today.

Years ago, we experienced something similar with Gustavo Ribeiro, who became SLS Super Crown Champion while riding for JART. That moment showed the world what happens when a young talent grows within the right environment, Now, history repeats itself — but even earlier.

Jart Skateboards and its team manager worked always with a clear goal in mind, looking for the youngest talents to give them a opportunity to become the best skaters in the world, we are just the tool to walk this journey with them providing anything needed.

Brand and Factory: Supporting skateboarders journeys

As a manufacturer, JART works directly with its riders, no intermediaries, no guesswork.

With Ginwoo, this meant we could build his boards and Pro models from scratch, adjusting every detail: shape, weight, pop, concave, wheelbase — all developed around his skating, his growth, and his future, and providing a unique skateboard just for him and his needs.

He hasn’t been riding a board made for someone else, he’s been riding a board made just for him.

And throughout this entire journey, JART has been there — supporting, listening, building, evolving alongside him.

From Kid to Pro Skateboarder and SLS Super Crown champion

Last weekend, at just 15 years old, Ginwoo made history by winning the SLS Super Crown in Brazil, proving he’s not just the future of skateboarding — he’s already one of the best doing it.

Even more special: just days before the contest, we welcomed him to the JART pro team, in a dinner with all the SLS skaters and organization. From that moment on, everything aligned.

Today, we’re excited to tell you that Ginwoo’s is now a Jart Skateboards Pro, and today his street video part and his two pro models will be available worldwide.

It’s been a long and exciting journey that we lived ourselves hand by hand with Ginwoo and his family, and we knew since day one that this day was going to come, we just needed to trust the process.

This is more than a product release.

This is a landmark moment in modern skateboarding.

Congratulations Gin, and thank you for your persistence, your strength, and the most important thing, for always having fun on your skateboard.

The journey does not finish here, during today, the first Street Video Part Introducing Ginwoo as Jart Skateboards Pro will be released along with his two pro model boards. Make sure you don’t miss it!

Watch Angelo Caro's UNDER PRESSURE part

We are very proud to present Angelo Caro’s UNDER PRESSURE video part.

The streets of South America are quick teachers when it comes to not falling, and Angelo has been on a rocket ride of progression over the last few years. His talent is undeniable, but his natural humility keeps him grounded. Having shone in our unrepeatable skate tours of Colombia, Paraguay, Belize and beyond, Angelo has balanced street skating with a contest career that started internationally with second place at Red Bull’s Skate Arcade in Lisbon, Portugal back in 2015.

Since then, his skating career has taken in everything from winning Prague’s awesome Mystic Cup to taking second at last year’s enormous Pan-American Games contest. Angelo continues to live and skate in his native Lima, where he splits his time between logging street clips and cruising the San Miguel skatepark which bears his name almost every dry day.

This is his heavy-duty, brand-new video part, filmed exclusively for Jart and Red Bull Skateboarding: as ever, enjoy!

Gustavo Ribeiro got 3rd Place in 2022 SLS Jacksonville

What an amazing weekend we’ve just had in Jacksonville. Did you see the Finals? Hope you did because here you have some spoilers:

Our PRO Gustavo Ribeiro got 3rd place yesterday, behind Sora Shirai (2nd) & Yuto Horigome (1st). Gustavo struggle a little bit on his first run with a 6.7, but then he got a solid 9.1 on his second run. Later the best trick section came and he got an 8.7 and 9.3 on his first and third attempts. These tricks took him to the Super Final where he couldn’t improve his previous scores. Anyways Gustavo’s performed at a high level, showing why he already won one stop last year.

JART Skateboards - June First Weekend Recap

This weekend was a great weekend for JART Skateboards around the world.

First Angelo Caro and Max Berguin competed at the Urban World Series 2022 Men Finals in Madrid and got 2nd & 3rd Place respectively. We also would like to mention that our hometown skater Sara Larrañaga got 3rd place at the Women’s Finals.

The format consisted of two runs and three best tricks where the best three scores count. Angelo had a great round in the finals, he only missed one trick and dropped his phone in the middle. On the other side Max didn’t fail on his first run.

At the best trick, Angelo landed two great tricks. A 360 flip front board down the biggest rail and a 360 flip fs lipslide the whole rail shove-it out. Max also landed two tricks, a bs crooked grind nollie flip out down the big rail and a bs bigspin fs board down the little rail to secure the 3rd place at the podium.

Meanwhile, in LA, the Damn AM Contest was taking place at The Berrics. Guess who was there? Correct! Gin Woo, who qualified 1st in the semis & got 2nd place in the finals doing his already signature flip in & flip out moves down the big rail like he was at his local skatepark. Our rider Jonas Carlsson also participated in the contest. He got 6th place in the semis and got 10th place in the finals.

MANNY SANTIAGO - Welcome to the PRO Team

The first time that I saw Manny skating was in some Maloof Money Cup highlights video back in 2010 or 2011. Since that very first time, his skateboarding is something that I have admired, and I’ve always kept an eye out for everything that he’s put out.

Over the years I’ve watched Manny have groundbreaking video parts, always with style and such a unique bag of tricks that nobody but him can do. It really caught my eye how easily he can shove-it and varial heelflip into anything.

Manny has been in the game for many years, he has gained the respect and the love of everybody in the industry traveling, filming, and competing around the world.

But if I have to write about Manny, one of the things that stands out is that you always see him having fun when he’s on his board. It doesn’t matter if he’s just cruising around or in the middle of the Olympics representing Puerto Rico, you always going to see him smiling. That reminds us of when you first saw a kid skating in your neighborhood down the street with a huge smile and you thought “that must be fun”. Because we all started skating, at the end of the day, because of that simple feeling… FUN. That’s what Manny does best, he makes you want to skate and have fun.

With all this being said, it’s a huge pleasure to announce that Manny Santiago is now part of the Jart Skateboards PRO team as our newest rider. We’re all sure that he will represent our brand with the same passion and happiness that always brings with him.

Welcome to the team, Manny!
